Bandung, January 31, 2026 — Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) held the Open Visit UPI 2026 event on Friday (January 31), with the main activities centered at the UPI Gymnasium. The event was attended by hundreds of participants, the majority of whom were senior high school and vocational high school students from various regions.

The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Education (FPMIPA) of UPI, through the Mathematics Education Study Program and the Mathematics Study Program, also opened access for visits to several leading laboratories. The laboratories available for visits included the Computer Laboratory and the Learning Media Laboratory, which are designed to support technology-based learning and the development of innovative educational media.
Through these laboratory visits, participants gained firsthand experience in utilizing academic facilities, using learning-support software, and observing practical activities undertaken by university students. This initiative is expected to help participants better understand the characteristics of each study program and make more informed decisions regarding their future educational paths.

The Open Visit UPI 2026 is expected to serve as an effective platform for bridging information between secondary education and higher education, while also fostering the interest of senior high school and vocational school students in pursuing higher education, particularly at Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia.
