Bandung, July 8, 2026 – The Chemistry Education Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI), held a coordination meeting as an initial step in preparing for the ASIIN (Akkreditierungsagentur für Studiengänge der Ingenieurwissenschaften, der Informatik, der Naturewissenschaften und der Mathematik) international re-accreditation process for the Bachelor of Chemistry Education Study Program. Previously, the Chemistry Education study program successfully achieved ASIIN accreditation in 2021, which expires in 2027.
The coordination meeting was led by the Head of the Chemistry Education Study Program, Prof. Dr. Wiji, M.Si., along with the Study Program Secretary, Tuszie Widhianti, Ph.D., and attended by eight members of the accreditation committee. This inaugural meeting focused on presenting the ASIIN accreditation assessment criteria as a reference for document preparation and evaluation preparation. Additionally, Triannisa Rahmawati, S. Pd., M.Si. also shared experiences and best practices based on the implementation of previous ASIIN accreditation as provisions for the team in facing the upcoming re-accreditation process.
