On Saturday, May 31, 2025, the Science Education Study Program at Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) held an online socialization event via Zoom Meeting. The main speaker was Prof. Ari Widodo, M.Ed., Ph.D., as the Head of the Science Education Study Program, with Hanna Nurul Husna, M.Pd., serving as the moderator.

During the two-hour session, starting from 09.00 to 11.00 AM, Prof. Ari presented an overview of the Science Education Study Program, including vision, lecturers, and the three academic levels, namely Bachelor (S1), Master (S2), and Doctoral (S3). He highlighted the main research focuses on Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) and Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK), as well as its flagship programs, including PMDSU, fast track, and double degree opportunities. There was a special testimony from Rizki Maulana Ashidiq, who is a current student participating in the double degree program at NTNU (National Taiwan Normal University). Rizki shared his valuable experiences studying abroad in Taiwan.

The first Q&A session was conducted afterwards with a highly interactive discussion. Participants asked questions related to research topics, registration procedures, and international program opportunities. The session then continued with an additional presentation by Prof. Ari Widodo, focused on research in science education. Furthermore, the second Q&A session followed, with around eleven participants asking questions either through the chat or live interaction. During the discussion, Prof. Ari Widodo asked about their regions and plans for continuing the study. Most of the participants from outside Java Island have the intention to continue the doctoral program in UPI.

Before the closing, the session concluded with a group photo, a short resume by the moderator, and the introduction of our official social media accounts, which will serve as platforms for ongoing communication and information.
