Faza Alika from the International Program on Science Education was chosen as Putri Bumi Siliwangi 2023

Faza Alika, a student of the International Program on Science Education, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Education, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (FPMIPA UPI) was successfully elected as Putri Bumi Siliwangi 2023. Faza Alika defeated 48 other finalists in the Grand Final of Putra Putri Bumi Siliwangi (PPBS) 2023 which was held on November 3, 2023, at Ahmad Sanusi Building UPI.

This year’s PPBS Grand Final raised the theme of East Nusa Tenggara culture, which is rich in traditions, arts, and cultural diversity. In this event, Prof. Dr. Didi Sukyadi, M.A., UPI Vice-Rector for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Suwatno, M.Si., Director of the Directorate of Student Affairs, were also present to give speeches and provide support to 48 Finalists from all Faculties and Regional Campuses.

The activity, which has started since September 1, 2023, provides a lot of training to Finalists as a provision to become an Ambassador. In addition, Finalists also participated in various tests and challenges such as the General Insight Test, Motion Challenge, Keyword Challenge, Sports Challenge, Photoshoot Challenge, Social Project, Presentation Challenge, and Preliminary Show before finally arriving at the Grand Final night.

Congratulations to the other finalists who have competed well in the Putra Putri Bumi Siliwangi 2023 event. Hopefully, Faza Alika can carry out her duties and responsibilities as Putri Bumi Siliwangi 2023 well and bring UPI’s name even more fragrant.
