by Pend. Matematika    Feb 25, 2025

The Mathematics Education Study Program at Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) now has a Mathematics Education Learning Media Laboratory as a facility to foster innovation in mathematics learning. This laboratory serves as a space for storing and exploring various learning media created by students in the ICT Literacy and Learning Media course, as well as media acquired by the study program for additional learning resources. With this facility, students can directly study, evaluate, and develop more interactive and innovative learning media.

In addition to providing various physical learning media, the laboratory is also equipped with a studio for recording and producing educational videos. This studio is supported by the latest equipment, such as a high-resolution camera and a green screen, allowing students and lecturers to create high-quality educational content. The presence of these facilities is expected to encourage the integration of technology into mathematics learning, both for academic purposes and community engagement.

In the near future, the laboratory will be open for visits by students, lecturers, teachers, and the general public who are interested in innovations in mathematics learning media. These visits aim to introduce the various media that have been developed, inspire educators, and serve as a platform for discussions on developing more effective and applicable learning media. Further information regarding the schedule and visit procedures will be announced by the study program soon.

With the establishment of this Learning Media Laboratory, the Mathematics Education Study Program at UPI hopes to enhance the quality of learning and produce creative and innovative future educators. This facility is also a tangible step in supporting the integration of technology in mathematics education, making learning more engaging, interactive, and aligned with modern developments.
