Ternate – The Indonesian Association of Graduate Programs in Mathematics Education (PPPMI) successfully held its 2025 National Working Meeting (Rakernas) on August 22–24, 2025, at the Graduate Program of Khairun University, Ternate. The event was attended by representatives from various universities across Indonesia and served as a strategic forum to strengthen collaboration in advancing mathematics education nationwide.
During the opening ceremony on Friday, August 22, 2025, Prof. Al Jupri, S.Pd., M.Sc., Ph.D. delivered a speech on behalf of PPPMI, while Dr. Eyus Sudihartinih, M.Pd. attended as part of the delegation from Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI). Their presence reflected the active role of the Mathematics Education and Mathematics Study Programs at UPI in shaping policy directions and fostering research development in mathematics education in Indonesia.
Beyond the opening session, the Rakernas agenda included a guest lecture by Prof. Dr. Tatag Yuli Eko Siswono, national coordination meetings, an international seminar on mathematics education, as well as community service activities in Tidore.
The Mathematics Education and Mathematics Study Programs of UPI extend their appreciation and congratulations on the successful organization of the 2025 PPPMI Rakernas. The participation of Prof. Al Jupri and Dr. Eyus Sudihartinih is expected to further strengthen UPI’s contribution and visibility in both national and international networks dedicated to advancing mathematics education.
