Nendi Vedriadi from the Biology Study Programme Won 2nd Honorable Mention in PKM-RE AMLI 2023

In the Student Creativity Programme (PKM) 2023 organized by the Indonesian MIPA LPTK Association (AMLI) in April-November 2023, representatives from FPMIPA UPI made a proud achievement. Nendi Vedriadi raised the theme “Edible Coating Antibacterial Peppers with Beeswax”.

Beeswax is a natural material that has long been known to have various benefits, including antibacterial properties. By applying beeswax as a protective coating for bell peppers, Nendi Vedriadi has created an effective solution to extend the shelf life of bell peppers while protecting them from damaging bacteria.

Nendi Vedriadi’s achievement in PKM-RE AMLI 2023 certainly did not come easily. He had to compete with many other participants who also had interesting ideas and innovations. However, with hard work and dedication, he managed to prove that his ideas and innovations deserve to be honored.

Winning the 2nd Honorable Mention is an extraordinary achievement. Hopefully, this achievement will be able to create new innovations that can provide benefits to the wider community.
