Bandung, August 19–21, 2025 – The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Education (FPMIPA) of Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) successfully organized Open Lab 2025, a laboratory exhibition open to the public. Over the course of three days, every laboratory within FPMIPA UPI showcased various facilities, works, and innovations to introduce the world of science and education to the broader community.
Specifically, for the Mathematics Education and Mathematics Study Programs, the exhibition was held in the Computer Laboratories located in FPMIPA Buildings A and C, namely rooms E-305, E-306, and C-104. During the exhibition, visitors had the opportunity to directly observe the use of computer technology in mathematics learning and research. In addition, the study programs also presented a collection of learning media and teaching aids created by students, displayed in the Learning Laboratory located in FPMIPA Building B, room B-314.
This event attracted a wide range of participants, including elementary, junior high, and high school students along with their teachers, university students from various study programs, as well as FPMIPA lecturers. Through direct interaction with the laboratories, visitors gained valuable insights into how mathematical theories can be applied in both learning media and technological tools.
Open Lab FPMIPA UPI 2025 not only served as a platform to showcase the works of students and lecturers but also as a source of inspiration and motivation for younger generations to develop a passion for science, technology, and mathematics. It is hoped that this event will foster collaboration and knowledge exchange that will contribute to the advancement of education, research, and innovation in the future.
