Bandung, July 16, 2025 – The Mathematics Education Study Program and the Mathematics Study Program at Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) held a joint undergraduate thesis defense (S1) today, Wednesday (July 16). The session began with a general briefing at Room E405, FPMIPA A Building (JICA Building) at 7:00 a.m., attended by examiners, academic staff, and all student participants.
In this session, 40 students from the Mathematics Education Study Program and 26 students from the Mathematics Study Program presented their final research projects before a panel of assigned supervisors and examiners. The thesis topics reflected a wide range of expertise, from innovative instructional models in mathematics education to theoretical studies and applied mathematics.
The defenses were held in various classrooms and lecturers’ offices within the FPMIPA complex. During the morning briefing, students were reminded about the importance of procedural discipline, academic integrity, and professional presentation during their defenses. Today’s event marks a crucial milestone for students on their path toward graduation and serves as a culmination of their academic journey at UPI.
