TXT TEAM ACHIEVES 1ST PLACE IN THE DIGITAL INNOVATION DIVISION AT LIDM 2023
The TXT Team, consisting of 4 students from the Computer Science Education program, led by Nugraha Adiputra, along with members Galih Lazuardi Nursyahbana, Mohammad Guntur Nugraha, and Wendi Kardian, guided by Erlangga, S.Kom, M.T., successfully achieved 1st place at the Student Digital Innovation Competition (LIDM) in the Digital Innovation Division, with the final stage held from Wednesday, July 5, 2023, to Thursday, July 6, 2023, at the FPTK Building, UPI.
The TXT Team developed the innovation called OPENLIT, which is an application that makes it easier for people to read anytime and anywhere. They hope that their work can be beneficial, and even after participating in this competition, they want their project to be continuously developed and provide wide-ranging benefits.
Openlit is an AI-based website that provides categorized literature as a means to improve reading motivation among the Indonesian community.
The TXT Team spent around two months preparing for this competition, starting from finding the idea to designing the system and creating a video. According to them, the most challenging part of the preparation was finding the initial idea and developing the application from that idea. Hence, the TXT team conducted research and consulted extensively with their supervising lecturer.
Referring to the LIDM 2023 Guidelines, the competition in the Digital Innovation Division aims to assist educators in performing administrative tasks and managing distance learning. Additionally, the competition in this division focuses on developing digital educational technology innovations in educational management and administration information systems, as well as innovations in information systems and technology in classical learning.
