300 FPMIPA Students Enthusiastically Join Basic Information Literacy Class

The second day of the Basic Information Literacy Class organized by the UPI Library was attended by 300 students from the Faculty of Mathematics and Science Education (FPMIPA), Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI). The event was conducted in a hybrid format at the FPMIPA Auditorium and via Zoom Meeting from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. WIB.

The Dean of FPMIPA, Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Adi Rahmat, M.Si., opened the event by highlighting the importance of information literacy skills as a cornerstone of academic success in the digital age. Dr. Hj. Riche Cynthia Johan, M.Si., Head of the UPI Library, also addressed the students, encouraging them to use the library as a space for learning and self-development.

The session featured speakers Mrs. Santi Santika, M.P., and Mrs. Nanda Khaerunnisa Syafitri, S.S.I., who equipped students with essential information literacy skills. This class serves as a strategic foundation for new students to navigate the academic world with accurate and reliable information.

Participants’ enthusiasm was evident through numerous questions and active engagement, reflecting their high motivation to learn throughout the session.
