Embracing the Meaning of Sacrifice on Eid al-Adha

In commemoration of Eid al-Adha on the 10th of Dhu al-Hijjah 1445 AH, the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Education (FPMIPA) at Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) sincerely extends Eid al-Adha greetings to the entire academic community, including students, lecturers, administrative staff, and the general public.

Eid al-Adha is a holiday with profound significance for Muslims worldwide. It commemorates the obedience of Prophet Ibrahim (AS) in fulfilling Allah’s command to sacrifice his son, Prophet Ismail (AS), who was then replaced by a ram. The spirit of sacrifice, sincerity, and obedience demonstrated by Prophet Ibrahim (AS) and Prophet Ismail (AS) serves as an example for all of us in our daily lives.

During this blessed occasion, FPMIPA UPI invites the entire academic community to enhance our sense of gratitude and social concern for others, especially those less fortunate. Let us use this Eid al-Adha as a moment to strengthen our bonds of kinship, reinforce solidarity, and reaffirm our commitment to contributing our best to society.

Happy Eid al-Adha 1445 AH. May we all be blessed with health, happiness, and peace. Amiin.
