Master Program of Biology Education (MP-BE) was founded in 2011 under the Department of Biology Education, FPMIPA UPI. Since 2017, MP-BE has been accredited "A" by BAN-PT, and in 2024 the study program accreditation is “Outstanding” by LAMDIK. The profile of MP-BE graduates is a master of education (M.Pd.) who is competent as a professional educator, researcher, entrepreneur, and educational practitioner. Competencies that will be mastered by graduates include innovative pedagogy of biology, critical thinking, creative problem-solving, and entrepreneurship. MP-BE graduates can work in the education sector, government and private institutions, the education industry, and entrepreneurship. In 2023, the tightness of MP-BE entry selection will be 1:2. The MP-BE program stands out among other study programs at UPI due to its outstanding achievements and forward-thinking initiatives. In 2024, the program demonstrated a remarkable improvement in its Internal Quality Audit (AMI) scores, showcasing its commitment to maintaining high academic and operational standards. This dedication was further validated by receiving the prestigious UNGGUL (Outstanding) accreditation rating from LAMDIK. The program's internationalization efforts also shine, including the initiation of a double-degree collaboration with Okayama University and active participation in global mobility programs such as the Twinkle Program and JASSO. With a strong focus on advancing World-Class University (WCU) status, the program has secured funding for international collaborative research through PkM LN-LPDP and consistently achieved success in international competitions. These accomplishments not only highlight the program's excellence but also position it as a leader in delivering impactful education, research, and global engagement.
