Student admissions


New student admissions for the Master of Chemistry Education Program, FPMIPA UPI are held twice a year. Applicants can choose to register for lectures in the Odd or Even semester.

Registration pathways

1. Regular Program

The Regular admission pathway is intended for students who are graduates of Chemistry and Chemistry Education, both UPI and non-UPI graduates who wish to continue their education at the master's level in chemistry education.

2. Fast-track program

The fast-track is opened to facilitate students of the Bachelor of Chemistry Education program, FPMIPA UPI who have special/superior academic abilities and are highly motivated to continue their education to the master's program. To take the fast track, students must meet the following requirements: 1) complete a minimum of 120 credits, 2) have a minimum GPA of 3.50 and 3) have a TOEFL score of at least 500 or equivalent.

3. Prior Learning Recognition Program (RPL).

The RPL pathway is intended for students who dropped out of college for reasons other than academics and are interested in continuing their studies, as well as those who have work experience relevant to their study program.

The entire admission process is organized centrally under the coordination of the Directorate of Education.
