Our Facilities

Provisions for learning infrastructure facilities are also contained in the UPI Quality Policy. The number, type, and specification of facilities are determined based on the characteristics of learning methods and forms, which can ensure the implementation of a good learning process. In general, the infrastructure provided by UPI includes learning facilities such as land, faculty, and other administrative buildings, libraries, educational museums, training centers, laboratories, information and technology centers, art rooms, and dormitories. In addition, UPI must provide public facilities such as roads, water, electricity, WiFi networks, parking, communication networks, polyclinics, green open spaces, canteens, places of worship, mini markets, bookstores, ATM centers, and business galleries including campus security systems. Building standards at UPI have safety, health, comfort, and security requirements. In addition, the infrastructure provided must be accessible to people with disabilities, equipped with Braille labeling, ramps for wheelchair users, guiding blocks on pedestrians, and floor plan maps and toilets for wheelchair users.

Facilities for disability in FPMIPA.

Currently, the infrastructure facilities in FPMIPA and departments/study programs are very adequate, both in terms of the number or specifications to ensure the implementation of academic and organizational activities.

A laboratory school is an educational institution, typically a school, that operates as a laboratory for developing and testing new teaching methods, curriculum materials, and educational research. Laboratory schools are often affiliated with universities or research institutions, and they aim to provide a platform for research and experimentation in education, as well as a high-quality education for their students. In UPI, laboratory schools include daycare and early childhood education programs, Kindergarten, Elementary School, Junior High School, and Senior High School. UPI also offers several supporting facilities, including:

1. The magnificent Al-Furqon Mosque, which continues to liven up the campus with various religious activities.

2. The Isola Resort, an Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia Training Centre with hotel and meeting service facilities located on the UPI campus.

3. A polyclinic that provides general health and dental health services for all academicians.

4. Bank BNI 46, which is always ready to help the academic community, specifically in serving students who will pay tuition fees.

5. Canteens/cafeterias that are spread across almost all faculties provide cheap, varied snacks.

6. Official vehicles, including Kijang operational vehicles, minibuses, elves, sedans, and buses, especially buses that students can use for field lectures held outside the campus or other student activities.

7. The Meeting Hall with a capacity of 2,000 people is always busy with reasoning, art, and creativity activities by students and can be used for public purposes.

9. The Student Activity Centre (Geugeut Winda Building) is a place to develop students' managerial and creative abilities to accommodate student activities.

10. The library has a collection of 69,802 book titles or approximately 143,836 copies. The service hours are from 08:00 to 17:00 (WIB), except on Saturdays when the library is only open until 12:30 (WIB). The university also provides a digital library that can be accessed by both lecturers and students (http://perpustakaan.upi.edu/).

11. To help students who have problems, both personal and academic, the BKPK Agency (Guidance and Counseling and Career Development) provides guidance and counseling services for UPI students and the academic community, both in the academic, career, personal and social fields. Counseling services provided by the BKPK Agency are handled by professional counselors/psychologists

12. In addition, to ensure the safety and comfort of all academics, CCTV is placed at several points in the building. In addition, it is known that FPMIPA has good internet connection facilities, which is known from the existence of 31 access points and 228 LANs placed on each floor at strategic points. The common room of each study program is equipped with computers, laser printers, copiers & scanners that are connected to the internet for use by lecturers in general.
