SHORT-TERM TRAINING PROGRAM IN KOREA

The short-term training program in Korea was successfully held from February 3rd-7th, 2025. This activity involving visitors from Indonesian campuses, namely 3 representatives from Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, they are Prof. Asep Kadarohman, Prof Fitri Khoerunnisa, and Triannisa Rahmawati, S.Pd. Also joint 2 representatives from  Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes), they are Dr. Cepi Kurniawan and Prof. Woro SUmarni. The visitors depart from Jakarta (Soekarno-Hatta airport) by February 2nd, 2025 evening and arrived in Incheon Airport Feb 3rd morning. The activity was continued with report progress of 2nd year program and 3rd year plan, and on the afternoon visit Indonesia Embassy (click here: https://www.instagram.com/p/DFnD3CDvQOM/?igsh=eW95OWttaXQyMTA2).

In Embassy, the visitor vas welcome by Dr Amalia. The meeting talk about collaboration between Leading University in Indonesia with South Korea under the consortium name Leading University Project for International Cooperation (LUPIC).

February 4th, 2025. The short term was started with Workshop on Recent Science Education in Korea  in Seoul National University by Prof. Dae Hong Jung under the topic “Problem Solving through Collaboration and AI-Digital Competency”and Dr. Mihyun Son under the topic “Recent Trends in Science Education Reform in Korea”. While afternoon session is Lab Tour in College of Education (SNU library and museum visit). The visitors were also invited to lunch in SNU restaurant.

February 5th, 2025. The short term was started with Introduction of FABLAB and Practical Training Program at Seoul National University of Science and Technology (SNUST). The program was welcomed by Prof. Seul Ki Hong and Prof. Hyun Woo Cho. Besides Fablab visit, the  Indonesian visitors also visit SNUST Technopark.

February 6th, 2025. The sort-term was started with Hands-On Workshop in Modern Fabrication and Technology, in Lab311, Sogang University. This Program was welcomed by Prof. Won Koo Lee (also Prof Kwan Woo Shin), and Dr. Dipta. This activity is including Tour of Maker’s Space and Biocore facility in the morning and Workshop on Science Education Network in Korea with 2 speakers. Speaker 1, Prof Jae Young Han (Dept. of Chem. Edu., Chungbuk National University) deliver his talk about “Fostering Science Teachers’ Association”. While second speaker, Younghak Kim (Shihwa Narae Middle School) deliver his talk about “When We Dream Together”. These day was closed with welcome dinner with Professor from Sogang University.

Feb 7th, 2025. On the last day of the short-term, the visitors met VIP of Sogang University President, ) Prof. Luke Jong-hyeok Shim. Also met, Executive Vice President, Research & External Affairs) Prof. Tai-kyung Song, accompanied by Prof. Won Koo Lee and Prof. Kwanwoo Shin. Last but not least, the day was closed by visit Hanyang University. We visited Lab,  also attending lecture about “Study on Biocompatibility and Anti-aging Mechanism of Indonesian Essential Oil” by Prof. Jin Seok Lee and team.The Indonesian visitors leaving Depart from Korea on Feb 8th, 2025 accompanied by Prof. Won Koo Lee.
